Joe Cash is an Indie Alternative Pop artist from
Scarborough, a borough of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Joe has been writing songs since he was 8 or 9 years old,
and always had musical instruments around the house
growing up.
He branded officially as Joe Cash in 2013, and has
released 3 EPs, numerous singles, and live concert videos,
as well as 30+ music videos. The majority of which, he has
produced, directed, and edited himself, with the help of
friends and family, often handing them a camera and just
saying “keep me in focus”
Joe will have a 6 song record out on Lit Soc later in the year. Recorded live off the floor in Sellers & Newel, the record is engineered and produced by John Borra, and Joe is musically backed by Patrick Smith on sax, Lowell Whitty on drums and percussion, and Chris Banks on bass. The album features the songs that Joe calls his "greatest hits", as he revisits the songs that have helped him gain his following over the years, including fan favourites Nineteen Fifty Something and Scarborough Girl. "I feel like these songs are finally being heard the way I've always wanted them too. Some of them are a decade+ old and with this record I finally believe they have reached their full potential." says Joe,
"It's the coolest sh*t I've ever done."
